WINTER ROMANCE: COLOUR PALETTE
Dark, moody and luxurious tones are the perfect pick for romantic winter styling! We love pairing black with magenta, blush, scarlett and berry shades for a beautiful contrast and pop of colour.
Gold is also one of the best accent colours for winter styling, helping to elevate your overall look and create a modern luxe setting. Don’t forget to keep your colour palette balanced with a good amount of both light and shade for a cohesive look that doesn’t overwhelm the space!
WINTER ROMANCE: FURNITURE AND DECOR
It’s all about rich fabrics and sophisticated decor for a modern winter wedding. Think about incorporating luxe details like velvet, wire, marble and metallics to create a statement winter look.
For a sit-down reception, our black dining tables and gold wire Soho chairs work beautifully together for a contemporary setting. Black or white dinner plates, gold cutlery, crystal glassware and blush linen napkins are the perfect finishing touches for a winter tablescape.
For a cocktail wedding, we love our black marble Icelandic dry bars paired with our gold Icelandic stools. Incorporate some rich velvet tones with our magenta and blush velvet lounges and ottomans scattered around the space, and create a statement feature area with our black VJ timber bar and black Soho wire backdrop.

WINTER ROMANCE: FLORAL DESIGN
Moody florals are one of our favourite elements about winter styling!
This winter look is all about contrast, so try to balance lighter tones (think blush pink roses, anthuriums and orchids) with deeper blooms and dark (or even gold-sprayed) foliage.
Winter floral design is bold and dramatic, so don’t be afraid to go big with your floral styling, particularly for statement pieces like bar arrangements or ceremony backdrops!
WINTER ROMANCE: STYLING DETAILS
Keep your styling details elegant and refined to complete your romantic winter setting.
A hint of gold throughout your stationery, signage and lighting will help to create a luxe winter look, so consider including metallic tones into these finer details. We also love modern acrylic signage and luxe calligraphy for a stylish winter wedding!
Make sure you dial up the romance with plenty of warm candles scattered across tablescapes, coffee table surfaces and bar areas – varying heights and asymmetrical clusters work best.
