Riverwood Weddings, Maudsland
Tucked away within the foothills of Tamborine Mountain, Riverwood Weddings is an idyllic outdoor space with a relaxed country feel and plenty of sprawling gardens to take advantage of. One of our favourite blank canvas spaces for DIY brides, Riverwood is perfectly suited for everything from tipi celebrations to garden parties and marquee settings (and only 30 minutes from Surfers Paradise for travelling guests). Kirra Hill Community Centre, Coolangatta
Located in prime position with stunning ocean views overlooking Coolangatta beach, Kirra Hill is one of our top picks for a coastal-inspired wedding on the southern end of the GC! Another great DIY location with ample room for marquees and tents on the lawn, Kirra Hill also offers an indoor reception space for intimate weddings or wet-weather backups. EcoStudio Fellini, Mudgeeraba
Situated in the foothills of Springwood National Park, Ecostudio Fellini is a tranquil garden wedding venue complete with a sweet lily pond, on-site accommodation and lush green surrounds. With a split-level timber deck overlooking the garden, this space is perfectly suited for a beautiful indoor-outdoor flow from ceremony to reception. Our team is lucky enough to work at Summergrove Estate on a regular basis and it still takes our breath away every time we visit this beautiful space! Featuring panoramic hinterland and ocean views, a dreamy white wedding barn and sweet ceremony chapel, this venue has everything you need to create a truly amazing day – all located just 15km from Coolangatta airport.

Ardeena, Carool
Summergrove’s sister venue Ardeena is another local favourite of ours, set amongst 77 acres of lush open fields and untouched rainforest. Featuring sweeping hinterland views, ample flat lawn space and an undercover reception space, this blank canvas venue is ideal for a bohemian tipi or tent wedding.

Gilston Manor, Gilston
For modern luxe poolside vibes in a secluded hinterland location, Gilston Manor ticks all of the boxes. This luxury mansion sits on 20 acres of lush garden with on-site accommodation available – or, arrange “glamping” on the lawn for something more unique! Guests can enjoy cocktail hour by the pool before moving into a tent, marquee or tipi reception to dance the night away.
