For brides dreaming of a coastal wedding with sweeping ocean views, crisp white interiors and a relaxed ambience, you can’t go past one of the most picturesque Byron Bay wedding venues – Raes on Wategos. Set directly cross from the world renowned Watego’s beach, this stunning venue is the epitome of luxury and one of our absolute favourite places to work (and lets be honest, to visit for a glass of wine or three).
One of our favourite memories from Raes on Wategos was this beautiful styled shoot that we were lucky enough to be involved with amongst a dream team of suppliers. The Mediteranean architecture and coastal location of this boutique hotel was the main inspiration behind the vibrant and elegant styling, as an ‘Amalfi Coast’ feel was carried throughout all elements of the shoot.
Our white bentwood chairs were the perfect contrast set against a blue patterned table cloth, set with colourful red and fuchsia blooms spilling out from tarnished metallic vases. Relaxed and sophisticated table settings were created using our silver charger plates, white scalloped crockery, white linen napkins and crystal glassware, topped with gorgeous watercolour mosaic tile placecards.
