We’ve always been lovers of blush pinks and soft pastels, but lately we’ve been feeling inspired by rich, earthy tones and natural textures. Our current colour obsession is all things dusty rose – a deeper, muskier version of the blush pinks we’ve been loving, and one of our favourite current tones for wedding and event styling!

If you’ve seen our new Indie collection, you may have noticed some beautiful dusty rose hues making an appearance throughout our latest pieces. From furniture and decor inspiration to floral design and styling details, keep scrolling for some dusty rose wedding ideas and product picks from our range to get you inspired for your own celebration.

DUSTY ROSE WEDDING INSPIRATION: COLOUR PALETTE

Dusty rose is like an earthier version of the beautiful blush pinks we’ve been seeing – deeper and muskier, with undertones of terracotta and mauve.

We think this colour pairs perfectly with a base of earthy neutrals like warm browns and taupes, along with burnt autumnal tones of rust, mustard and sage. You can also complement dusty rose with soft pastels like blush and peach – or, create a contrast with deep charcoals and black. A hint of gold also works beautifully with this shade, so think about incorporating some warm metallics to complete the look!

DUSTY ROSE: FURNITURE AND DECOR

We love styling this shade with lots of natural textures like cane, timber and rattan. Elements of velvet and marble can also work beautifully for a more luxe look!

For relaxed cocktail styling, pair our Indie lounges and armchairs in dusty pink with our round timber dry bars, hairpin dry bars and Indie stools – or, add some subtle marble and gold details with our Icelandic dry bars and wire stools. You can also add a more subtle pop of dusty rose into your cocktail styling through rich upholstered cushions and textiles.

For sit-down dining, we love our timber or black dining tables paired with our Indie dining chairs for a neutral base. You can then introduce shades of dusty rose and deep pinks through your napkins, florals, stationery and other table styling elements for a layered and textural look.

DUSTY ROSE: FLORAL DESIGN

Think earthy and organic when it comes to floral styling, drawing from dusty pink and deep blush tones along with mocha, cappuccino, taupe, sage and muted greenery. Dried foliage and wildflowers also work beautifully with this look. We think this colour deserves a statement piece – showcase it through your ceremony backdrop florals, trailing table arrangements or bold ceiling installations for a real focal feature.

DUSTY ROSE: STYLING DETAILS

There are so many different ways you can work with dusty rose when it comes to the finer details of your event styling! From soft linen napkins and tablecloths to silk ribbons tied around your bouquet, dusty rose stationery and custom signage, try to create a cohesive look throughout all of your styling elements with this statement hue. We also love pairing dusty rose with textural accessories – think rattan lights, leather place cards, or potted plants sitting in woven baskets.
