Today we are reminiscing on this moody styled shoot in the Tweed Coast Hinterland, one of our team’s absolute favourite shoots to date.
With the colder weather now approaching, we thought this would be the perfect chance to look back at this luxe winter-inspired setting (note the faux fur sheepskin throw!) for all the brides-to-be who might be planning their very own winter wedding.
It’s hard to put our finger on exactly why we love this shoot so much – maybe it’s the rich colour palette of marsala, berry and indigo, or the lush green backdrop that set the scene for the day. Maybe it’s the trio of hand crafted cakes dripping with fresh figs and salted caramel, or the super sweet gelato cart serving lavender-coloured treats. Or maybe it’s the warmth created on the detailed tablescape with drop down Edison bulbs that lit up an oversized floral canopy. We think it’s probably all of the above!
We loved working with the Casuarina Weddings team who made the magic happen, styled by the masters at Little Gray Station and captured by the photography geniuses at Figtree Pictures. Not to mention the handful of creative and dedication professionals who each contributed their own amazing talents to the day.
