Retro Influences

In recent months, wedding and event styling has been drawing influence from the 70’s more than ever before. We’re not talking about paisley prints, but you can definitely expect to see more retro-inspired colours such as mustard, dusty pink, burnt orange, earthy terracotta and striking papaya when it comes to florals, decor, bridesmaid gowns and wedding day details. It’s all about warm, vibrant pops of colour and balancing retro influences with a modern approach.

When it comes to your furniture selections, be inspired by soft curves and mid-century styles – think luxe velvets, rich metallics and deep timber tones. Classic Glamour

We’re expecting a return to classic glamour with a timeless palette of crisp white paired with gold, silver or copper. Create a polished, meticulously styled table with crystal-cut glassware, luxe votives and statement charger plates to elevate the dining experience. Eco-Friendly Weddings

Eco-friendly decisions will be front-of-mind for weddings in 2021 and beyond. Think: biodegradable confetti, gourmet menus highlighting fresh local produce, and wild arrangements of seasonal flowers. Lilac Tones

We’re loving statement shades of lilac for weddings and events in 2021!
