Wedding | Megan + Matthew | Mt Pleasant Community Hall | Sunshine Coast

Dining room

At Hampton Event Hire we were all so excited to see the amazing photographs of our set up at Megan + Matthews recent Sunshine Coast wedding! With a colour scheme of charcoal, copper and blush with gorgeous hanging foliage installations from the ceiling our furniture and decor items were in good company.

Megan and Matthew said their vows in a picturesque wedding chapel in Mt Pleasant before guests moved to the Mt Pleasant Community Hall to continue their festivities. Working with Little Gray Station, we put together a custom furniture package with our beautiful white cane sofa settings, a mix of watermelon and white cushions and our rustic wine barrels to lounge on whilst other guests enjoyed the games during their pre-dinner drinks.

The brief we received was a fresh and modern approach to ‘rustic’ – to keep within the brief of an organic wedding but also adding some more contemporary details. Working within the colour palette we supplied our walnut tiffany chairsrose gold cutlery and french dinner plates which tied in beautifully with the rest of the decorative elements.  At each place setting we had cut crystal glassware and white linen napkins tied with copper cord and handwritten calligraphy place cards. To complete the space we had festoon lighting strung amongst the foliage – the best moment of the day for us was when we turned the festoons on and saw the hall light up. It really was magical!

We had so much fun working on this wedding with a fabulous and hardworking team of suppliers, and the proof is in these incredible photos. If you want to discuss furniture recommendations for your upcoming wedding we would love to chat with you – get in touch with us here!
