Jordie and Sam created the most dreamy garden-inspired wedding at one of our favourite Tweed Coast wedding venues, Osteria Casuarina. Complete with plenty of fresh greenery, twinkling fairy lights and lush florals, these guys styled their day to absolute perfection!
We loved working with Jordie, Sam and their stylist Lauren from Sunshine and Confetti to help them add the finishing touches to their Osteria wedding. Our French linen sofa package and walnut bentwood stools created a relaxed garden party vibe outdoors, while our rattan charger plates added a hint of texture to their feasting tables inside the hall.

Describe your wedding day: We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect day to be honest, it was everything we hoped for and so much more! The day ran so smoothly, and even if something did go wrong, we didn’t even know about it – our team had us covered. Our day was so relaxed and easy going and our hearts were filled with so much love and happiness.

What was the feel and style of your wedding: Relaxed garden party with lots of fairy lights, plenty of fresh greenery and beautiful flowers.
Where was your wedding venue and why did you choose them: Osteria, Casuarina. We fell in love the moment we entered, the atmosphere inside and out was exactly what we were looking for and so much more. The staff and service made us feel right at home, they were all so friendly and welcoming and we just knew it was the one. We also liked that the venue could host both the ceremony and the reception in the same location, so our guests could settle in and enjoy from the moment they arrived.
What were the highlights on the day: Both of us can agree that it was the ceremony for sure. From me arriving that little bit early so I could see Sam greeting our guests and getting ready to watch me walk down the aisle, to the moment I got to share with my father being one of the most special moments I will cherish forever, to seeing my soon-to-be husband with the biggest smile on his face. We are so grateful that we got to share such a special time in our lives with our favourite people to witness it. And of course it wouldn’t have been perfect without our amazing bridal party, we had so much fun with them the entire day 🙂
What was your experience like planning your wedding: I absolutely loved every bit of it, it was exciting and at times a little overwhelming.
Who was your photographer and why did you choose them: Choosing our photographer came easy to us, as soon as we saw Figtree’s work we knew straight away they were the perfect style for us & fell in love with their work instantly.
How did you choose your hire items: We hired from you guys (Hampton Event Hire!) as we really liked the products they had to offer and has such great feedback & reviews from everyone we spoke to – they were recommended by the venue as well which also gave us peace of mind.
Who was your wedding planner/stylist and why did you choose them: Sunshine and Confetti had such incredible reviews and feedback and we just couldn’t compare their work with anyone else – absolutely loved them!
Who was your celebrant and why did you choose them: We chose the wonderful Clarah Luxford, my makeup artist actually recommended her and oh boy are we glad. We instantly connected with her from the first time we met, she is amazing!!
Who was your florist and why did you choose them: We chose Julia Rose for our day and I think when you meet her you just know, she is the loveliest person, such a quirky, bubbly personality and so easy going. She is truly talented at what she does and we are so happy we had her as part of our day. Her social media page is filled with such a variety of styles and we just knew that with any task given to her she would just do the best job!
Who provided your cake/desserts and why did you choose them: Sam from Cake & Spoon is a very close friend of mine, not only can she provide a 10/10 look but the taste is even better!
How did you manage your budget: We sat down together and made a list of everything we needed and how much we thought it might cost. We kept updating the list as prices and quotes came through.
Do you have any tips for other brides: Just remember at the end of the day it’s about you, and try not to get too caught up in the stress of the little things. Definitely having a planner or on-the-day coordinator – things are busy enough when it’s getting close to the big day. Being able hand over so much to someone else whose sole focus for the day is running everything to meet our needs without having to worry us is great for peace of mind on the day, and relieves a lot of stress in the lead up.
