Our Bentwood stools are genuine European stools from Fameg, made from sustainably sourced beech wood which is hand-pressed over steam to create its unique and elegant shape. This particular manufacturing technique is over 130 years old, and was originally pioneered by Michael Thonet, setting a new standard in furniture production.
For over a century, Fameg have continued this amazing craft to create timeless, heirloom furniture items. It takes more than half a year for Fameg employees to learn the unique skill of wood bending, and the technique continues to be passed down through the generations – so, you can rest assured that lots of love and care has gone into making them!
Available in both White and Walnut, our Bentwood stools feature sleek curves, polished wood and an intricate shape that compliments all kinds of bar settings. Equally beautiful are our Bentwood chairs available in White, Black, Walnut and Terracotta. It’s important to note that as they are genuine Bentwood items, they are highly susceptible to water damage and can’t be used on wet/damp grounds (as they may get wet with moisture and mildew) or in wet weather under any circumstances. Instead, we recommend only using our Bentwood chairs and stools for stunning indoor and undercover events!
