The current global pandemic has hit everyone hard. For us in the events industry, like many others, it has been a really tough time. All events in Australia were brought to a halt in March and the country was put into a heavily restricted existence, for the first time Hampton Event Hire had to close our doors. When restrictions started to ease, and we were allowed to trickle back to work we all put our thinking caps on to come up with a way we could bring a little bit of joy and normality to our team, our industry colleagues and to you all.
With this in mind we created a temporary studio in our warehouse, opening it up to anyone, no strings attached, with unlimited use of our entire inventory. Yep, anything and EVERYTHING could be at your disposal. Our studio was a simple space crafted to be a blank canvas that wouldn’t limit the imagination. Approximately 6m x 5m in size with white walls and a grey painted cement flooring.
For the months of June and July we had a flurry of creatives, stylists and florists. And boy did we see some spectacular creations! We absolutely love the energy you all brought with you and cannot thank everyone enough who participated. It was amazing to see such vibrance, drive and people pushing outside of their comfort zones.
