There is nothing better than weddings that are a true reflection of the happy couple – those weddings that you walk into and notice all of the beautiful little details that remind you instantly of the bride and groom. This was definitely the case for Eloise + Hugh’s beautiful Tweed Coast wedding.
The brief from the couple was to create a warm and inviting wedding for their closest family and friends. Being a New York based couple, they also wanted to include significant ‘Australian’ details to make the wedding feel personal and homely. From the dreamy bouquets filled with native Australian flowers right down to the soft watercolour stationery and berry-topped wedding pavlova, we love how every element of this wedding was carefully considered to be authentic to this sweet couple.

“The day was so enjoyable and stress-free for us, which is awesome, but the main thing that stuck out to Hugh, me and everyone there was that it truly felt authentic and true to us. Every aspect was gorgeous and the little details really made all the difference – everything from the parasols at the ceremony to the kids’ section in the garden, the beautiful balloons at our photo booth and the gorgeous floral signing book.
Stepping into the dining hall, I was completely blown away. It looked like an ethereal garden but also felt very homely and comfortable. One big standout was the florals – they were breathtaking, as was the hanging foliage. The bouquets were exactly what I hoped for with all of the Aussie natives – and they smelled incredible! It was an incredible day and evening, and most importantly, it was so much fun”
