We love any excuse to get our hands on a fresh new space, so when the opportunity came to fit-out an iconic Brisbane wedding venue – we couldn’t resist!
High Church is the perfect option for brides searching for a truly unique Brisbane wedding venue. This converted church blends heritage-style architecture with some more contemporary design and plenty of character. Their newly opened boutique event space, The Gallery (situated underneath the Church) was the perfect blank canvas for us to deck out with our high-end range of furniture and decor!
To compliment this open and light-filled space, we worked with a monochromatic colour palette with neutral tones, accented with pops of metallics to add a luxe and sophisticated feel. Our Parisian sofa’s and linen bench ottomans created the perfect cosy lounge settings, while we used our black wire coffee tables and white bentwood chairs in smaller break-out settings dotted through the space. And of course, our majestic white and gold bar took centre stage – simple but striking, with two of the bars pushed together for maximum impact, and the gold framing perfectly tying in to the existing decor at High Church. The setting is well-balanced and relaxed with an elegant feel – ideal for a glamorous cocktail wedding or a corporate celebration.
Huge thanks to High Church for letting us come in and create this pop-up space, Kate Dawes Floral Design for creating the gorgeous arrangements, and Figtree Pictures for the beautiful photos. Check out more pics below, as well as our tips on re-creating this look!
