A brand new year. A shipping container full of new stock, finally unpacked. A clean and organised warehouse. A fridge full of champagne. There was only one thing to do in this situation – open our doors for our very first Warehouse Open Day!!
Thinking back to our first warehouse only a few short years ago (a tiny storage shed!) it was pretty mind-blowing for us to be able to showcase all of our beautiful new stock for this weeks Open Day. We had so much fun meeting all of the lovely couples and catching up with our industry friends, we didn’t want to close the doors at the end of the night!
After meeting the Hampton team at our Tiki Bar entrance, guests were able to roam through the aisles of our warehouse and check out our full range on display via our open shelving (kept super organised by our meticulous warehouse team!) as well as the three styled areas we created to showcase our new collections. If you can’t already tell by the photos we have been sharing through social media, we are kinda majorly in love with our new Soho collection so this was a big focus for us through our styled spaces!

Our first space; white on white. We kept things fresh, clean and super streamlined with our white Soho dry bars + white wire stools, displayed next to our wooden feasting tables and white wire dining chairs to create an intimate and romantic setting. Our brand new white mesh backdrop also made its debut, sitting pretty behind a contemporary tablescape featuring our clear beaded charger plates, crystal glassware and silvery cutlery. To break up the white on white colour palette we dressed the space with some lush tropical plants from our friends at The Borrowed Nursery, and simple pink florals.
Here’s the thing about a white colour palette – it’s timeless, and SO easy to style (just add plants and flowers!). The perfect option for those who don’t necessarily want to follow a ‘trend’ and just want a simple and elegant setting that will last the test of time.
For the bride who runs far, far away from any mention of chair covers or frilly pink bows then this one’s for you! Our second space was designed for the couples steering clear of the traditional, and embracing the contemporary.
This warehouse corner was a sleek mix of black + gold pieces from our Soho collection, along with our timber shelving, bamboo cafe tables and black director chairs. There is something about a monochromatic colour palette that we are loving this year – it just doesn’t feel like your typical run-of-the-mill wedding. Instead we are seeing inspiration being drawn from interior design magazines and chic retail spaces (especially with the addition of timber and bamboo accents) to create a look that would be just as fitting for a New Years party or a gala dinner.
And finally – our tropical bohemian corner, filled with vibrant colours, natural textures, and a bar piled high with a delicious (and seriously beautiful) spread from The Fromage Table. We created a colourful tablescape using our amber glassware, gold cutlery and rattan charger plates while our walnut bentwood chairs and wooden benches creating an asymmetrical seating situation (one of our 2017 styling trend predictions!).
Next to our table of boho goodness was our majestic green wall backdrop, black tolix dry bars and matching black tolix stools (we told you we had a thing about black this year!), and our comfy Frankie sofa. This corner became the hub of activity as wedding visions were discussed, and plans created with the help of our friendly team.
The hugest thank you to everyone we met at our Open Day – we are so humbled to be able to do what we do, and help create beautiful weddings for such lovely couples. And of course a big thanks to The Borrowed Nursery, The Fromage Table and Figtree Pictures for helping us to create and capture this day.
