2021: A Year in Review

2021 – what a year!

Amidst snap lockdowns and border closures, we’re proud to have played a role in so many incredible celebrations. From beautiful weddings and epic corporate events to product launches and a brand new warehouse, it’s certainly been a busy one for us here at Hampton Event Hire.

As we prepare to wind down for the Christmas break, we wanted to share some of our favourite events and highlights from 2021.

Weddings are Back!

Following the rollercoaster that was 2020, we were beyond excited to see weddings return in 2021. Our team serviced hundreds of beautiful weddings this year, taking us from the Tweed Coast, Gold Coast, Brisbane and Byron Bay right through to Toowoomba, Coffs Harbour, the Sunshine Coast and beyond.

We saw lots of luxe romantic styling, white-on-white palettes, earthy pops of colour and intimate micro-weddings. Stay tuned for our 2022 trend predictions coming soon!

Jewel Race Day at Gold Coast Turf Club

It was a fabulous day of racing at the Gold Coast Turf Club for the Jewel Raceday in March! We were lucky enough to furnish the Dome for the exclusive Blanc de Bloom Event using our range of cocktail seating, bars and backdrops.

We kept things fresh and chic with shades of white, blush pink and papaya, using a selection of high bars, stools, cafe tables and dining tables. Our Havana chairs and Dusk Bar added the perfect pop of colour, with a spectacular indoor tree and some spring-inspired florals to complete the look.

Tweed Coast Winter Open Days

The Tweed Winter Open Day (hosted by our friends at Tweed Coast Weddings) is one of our favourite annual events. This year, we showcased our wares and met some beautiful couples across Ardeena, Summergrove Estate, Fins at Plantation House, Osteria and Bellingdale Farm. It’s always a great opportunity to catch up with our local industry friends, too.

Western Downs Regional Council Awards Night

Following a recent renovation of the Dalby Events Centre, we were honoured to be involved in the Western Downs Regional Council Awards Night.

Working with an earthy colour palette, we created a modern and relaxed feel using a mix of timbers, rattans and fresh greenery. Long tables were paired with our Oak Crossback Chairs, and we created a number of break-out seating areas using our Hamptons Sofa Packages, White Timber Gazebos, Hairpin Dry Bars and Bentwood Stools. Our Dusk Bars in Slate Blue sat underneath a beautiful floral chandelier to complete the look.

Warehouse Move

2021 also saw us relocate from Tweed Heads to a brand new warehouse in Arundel on the Gold Coast. It was a huge task (especially with snap border closures to contend with) but we are happily getting settled into our new space. We now have a dedicated showroom and look forward to throwing a welcome soiree once the move is complete!

Bega Paddock to Plate Luncheon

In November, we were lucky enough to work with XPO Brands on an epic long lunch hosted by Bega Cheese at Nambour on the Sunshine Coast. The theme was “Paddock to Plate”, with our Oak Crossback Chairs and Timber Feasting Tables working perfectly together to create a warm, rustic feel.

Launching Our Milan Collection

This year we were excited to introduce our new Milan Collection! Inspired by the sophisticated Art Deco era, our Milan collection includes a range of coffee tables, side tables, high bars and cutlery with lustrous gold finishes, marble details and soft blush accents.
