For brides dreaming of a beachside wedding, you literally cannot get any closer to the water than Beach Byron Bay – one of our favourite venues in the region and the only reception venue to offer an absolute beachfront location. Beach has always been a favourite of ours so we were super excited to check out the newly renovated (and seriously breathtaking!) space.
With a refreshed and contemporary colour palette of crisp whites, greys and black, the modern and light-filled reception deck is the perfect blank canvas for a laidback beachside wedding with incredible ocean views. Easy access to the beach means you can plan your dream ceremony by the water with a short stroll up to the reception space afterwards, with a professional and friendly wedding team available at the venue to ensure everything runs smoothly. Not to mention the exposed rooftop so your guests can dance underneath the stars all night long, and the brand new italian-inspired menu full of local produce. Did we mention we love this place?!
To deck out such a gorgeous space we recommend keeping things simple and tying in your furniture and decor with the oceanside setting and coastal location. Pieces with natural textures and an organic colour palette work perfectly with this kind of blank canvas. If you are going for a relaxed and beachy vibe, we love pairing our comfy white summer furniture with vibrant patterned textiles, timber dry bars and white bentwood stools. The combination of high and low seating is perfect to add an extra dimension to the space!
For a more refined look, keep things monochromatic to tie in with the venue’s new colour scheme with black and white decor and subtle metallic tones. We’re thinking black hairpin bars, wire stools, silver side tables and acapulco chairs with printed cushions. A sophisticated mix of furniture like this is perfect for the clean white interior at Beach!
